THE “JAZZ AT THE VILLAGE” BIG BAND                                                                                                                                            Directed by Jo Pettitt with Eleanor Keenen (Vocalist).

At a later date this year and to round off our Spring and Summer programme, our own 16 piece Big Band will be presenting another programme of the well loved music of the Big Band era. This year we have been fortunate in obtaining the service of Jo Pettitt to direct our band. Many will know that Jo is no stranger to this role as he is the resident director of the popular Len Phillips Big Band that is the main feature of many Big Band Weekend and other venues throughout each year. We will also, again welcome Eleanor Keenen, for many years lead vocalist with the Syd Lawrence Band.
