SUNDAY 4TH AUGUST  – NOT TO BE MISSED                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      “PICNIC IN THE PARK” 2019                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    WITH THE BEN HOLDER, JULIAN MARC STRINGLE QUINTET                                                                                                                                                                                                Following the success of this event in 2017 & 2018, Jazz at the Village is arranging another free concert in Old Rectory Gardens, Felpham  and is pleased to inform you that Felpham Village Conservation Society will again be working with us as our partners for this event. Last year the concert was held on the Sunday afternoon following “Fun on the Prom” the previous day and we shall be doing so again this year contributing to an excellent weekend of entertainment for Felpham.  For this year’s concert we have been able to arrange a stunning line up headed by non other than Ben Holder (jazz violin) and Julian Marc Stringle (clarinet) again backed by their excellent rhythm section.  While the audiences at Jazz at the Village have enjoyed many  top class concerts over the 7 1/2 years we have been running, on his first visit to Felpham in 2018, Ben stunned the audience with the jaw dropping speed of his fingers and musicianship resulting in a standing ovation at the end of the concert, he is without question an astonishing violinist and with virtuoso Julian alongside, this is certainly not an occasion to be missed.                                                                                Come and be seated from 3.00pm – concert will commence at 4.oopm, 30 minute interval at 5.00pm and finish at 6.30pm.                                                                                      Bring your own picnic, rugs, chairs etc. There will be a Grand Draw organised by Felpham Village Conservation Society.
