Chris Dean and Gordon Campbell Quintet

Chris Dean was taken ill at the last minute and so, instead of Chris, Gordon Campbell brought along the fine trumpeter Tom Dennis for his first visit.
Tom is a young jazzer and has played with Gordon in Big Bands, but it was the first time they had played together as headliners. We are all sure it will not be their last pairing!
Brilliant Jazz accompanied by the top trio of John Pearce, Paul Morgan and Bobby Worth had a smiling audience foot tapping all evening.
